Revelation Veils
Here are some of the pieces I have been working on based on illuminated manuscripts of the Book of Revelation. They are made from laser cut old sheets, sewn into layers of tulle.
Something that has always driven me crazy is the lack of pockets in a lot of women’s clothing. I have made a few, to wrap around your neck, arm, waist, some with hoodies or little packs. I started these a few years back, finishing up some of the sewing and embroidery on them now. Here’s a few photos, there are lots more.
These are laser cut from old teeshirts or sweat shirts, sewn together by hand. I like to combine digital fabrication with handcraft.
Here are some hoodies I made, mostly out of laser cut old tee-shirts. I cut them a few years back, hand sewing and embroidering them over the last few years.
