This summer at ITP camp I made a few more lamps with laser cut parts, finishing up most of the ones that use fabric in the last few weeks. Here are a few pictures. One of the cut-up tee shirt lamps has buttons attached so you can “button up” the lamp various ways.
Camp is always great. This summer I learned a bit of python, worked with an Arduino Yun and Temboo- sending out different tweets with button pushes, set up a raspberry pi and made a stop motion animation, used the embroidery machine and cut up and etched a bunch of stuff with the laser cutter. Many great sessions on various topics, fun.

There were four installations in the window cases, each with a different theme, painted paper backdrops, cardboard and sheet metal sculptures, some were lamps.
